UKIP.ORG - News Following the former Archbishop of Canterbury’s article in the Daily Telegraph today, UKIP Deputy Leader Peter Whittle AM said: "UKIP have been saying from the very beginning of the refugee crisis that there needs to be a prioritisation of Christian refugees from Syria, due to the nature of the extreme persecution they are facing at the hands of Islamic extremists. "We are glad to see that the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Carey, has echoed these concerns today and hope that the government will take action to ensure they receive the protection and help they so desperately need."
